About the portal

This information system was developed in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4896 dated November 17, 2020. The decree defines tasks for the implementation of information systems in the field of hydrometeorology, the centralization of digital data, and providing users with reliable and timely meteorological information.
The system serves as a single platform for collecting, storing, and delivering to users the results of meteorological, hydrological, and agrometeorological observations conducted across the territory of Uzbekistan. It was developed within the framework of Uzgidromet’s activities and is based on the need for state-level monitoring of weather conditions and environmental status.
The system is intended for a wide range of users: government organizations, emergency services, agricultural specialists, scientific researchers, ecologists, and IT professionals, all of whom can utilize it in their work. Additionally, general users can access information about regional weather and environmental conditions.
Interactive maps, statistical and historical data, as well as API integration capabilities make the system convenient and efficient to use. As a result, data.meteo.uz is an important platform that allows users to make informed decisions regarding weather and environmental conditions, assess risks in advance, and use the data for analytical purposes.
